Starmode is operated by Orange Robot L.L.C-FZ, a company licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates under trade licence 2652206.01, at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at admin@orangerobot.ai.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or making a clip, you accept them.

You choose a scene, add a photograph of yourself, and we use artificial intelligence to generate a short video in which the person in the scene resembles you. The result is synthetic media: it is generated by a machine, it is not a recording of a real event, and it is not a photograph of anything that happened.

Every clip we deliver carries a visible Starmode mark. You agree not to remove it.

You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your year of birth before your first clip and will refuse the service if you are under 18. You must not let a child use your account.

You may only upload a photograph of yourself. You must not upload a photograph of:

• anyone under 18, in any circumstances;
• any other person, unless they are an adult who has given you permission and understands their face will be processed by an AI model;
• a public figure, a celebrity, or anyone you do not personally know;
• anything you do not have the right to use.

We screen every upload automatically and refuse photographs that appear to show a child, a recognisable public figure, or unsafe content. That screening is a safeguard, not a permission. The responsibility for what you upload is yours.

You must not use Starmode to impersonate anyone, to create sexual or intimate imagery, to harass, to mislead people about real events, or to break any law that applies to you. We may remove content and close accounts that do.

5.1 Clips are paid for with credits, prepaid units used only within Starmode. The price of each clip is shown in credits before you confirm, and is the same wherever you are. The price of a credit pack is shown in your currency at checkout; on our website, card payments are charged in UAE dirhams, and any other currency shown is an approximate conversion.

5.2 The price of a clip is shown and fixed before you confirm. Credits are deducted when the clip starts generating, not when it finishes.

5.3 Credits are prepaid, have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. They can only be used for Starmode.

5.4 Credits bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play never expire. Credits bought on our website or redeemed from a prepaid card expire after 12 months of account inactivity, and we will warn you before that happens. Any use of your account resets that period. Credits included in a monthly plan are added at the start of each paid month, roll over for one further month, and then lapse; plan credits are spent before any others. Cancelling a plan stops future charges at the end of the paid month and does not remove credits already added.

5.5 Prepaid cards sold by our distributors can only be redeemed on our website and are subject to the same rules. A lost card cannot be replaced.

Every price we show includes any UAE value added tax that applies. The price you see is the price you pay. Credits can be bought on our website only in the GCC. Everywhere else they are bought inside the Starmode app, where Apple or Google is the seller and collects any tax due in your country under their own terms.

7.1 If a clip fails for a technical reason, your credits are returned automatically. You do not need to ask.

7.2 If a clip comes out clearly broken, with no recognisable face, unreadable output, or plainly not the scene you chose, tell us and we will re-run it free or return your credits. This is our first remedy and you should not have to pay twice for it.

7.3 Every clip is generated fresh, so no two are identical and results vary. A clip that came out fine but is not what you hoped for is not a broken clip. You can generate again at a reduced price.

7.4 Because a delivered clip is digital content you have already received, it is not returnable once delivered.

7.5 Unused credits are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We tell you this at checkout, and ask you to confirm it, before you pay.

Finished clips stay available for 30 days, then they are deleted. Download anything you want to keep. The photograph you uploaded is deleted sooner, within 7 days, because it is only needed to make the clip.

9.1 Your photograph remains yours. You give us permission to process it for one purpose only: making the clip you asked for. That permission ends when the photograph is deleted.

9.2 The scenes, prompts, models and software behind Starmode are ours and stay ours.

9.3 You may use, post and share your finished clip, including commercially, provided the Starmode mark stays visible and you follow clause 4.

9.4 We will not use your clip or your photograph in our own marketing unless you separately agree.

AI generation is unpredictable. A clip may not resemble you as closely as you hoped, may contain visual errors, or may render text incorrectly. Samples show what a scene can look like, not what yours will look like. We do not promise any particular result, and we do not promise the service will always be available. We show you this before you generate, not only here.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks clause 4, attempts to defraud us, or abuses the service. Where we close an account for a serious breach, unused credits may be forfeited.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give notice before it takes effect. We will not shorten the retention period in clause 8 for clips already made.

If something goes wrong with a clip, our first remedy is to re-run it or return your credits under clause 7. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the preceding three months or AED 250. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

If you deliberately or recklessly upload a photograph of someone else without their permission and a third party brings a claim because of it, you agree to cover us against that claim. This does not apply to an honest mistake.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai. Nothing here removes any consumer right you have under UAE law.
